This Sunday evening sees one of the Serie A fixtures of the season when Roma take on Inter Milan in the Olympic Stadium Rome. The game kicks off at 1945 GMT.
With Juventus slipping up last weekend when drawing at Parma Inter Milan now only sit seven points from the top of the table and they will be keen to take all three points here to maintain the pressure on the current Serie A Champions. Roma themselves sit in eight place eight points away from a Champions League spot and they will be looking for the win to close the gap on their Milan rivals
Roma have a reasonable record at home to the Italian Elite which reads won four, drawn four and lost two and indeed they have had the better of the head-to-heads with inter which reads Roma three wins no draws and Inter two wins. It should also be remembered that Roma have won the last three meetings at the Olympic Stadium.
Roma can be backed at 2.15 and this looks a reasonable option. However I would certainly be inclined to keep the draw in play and Roma can be backed on the Asian handicap -0.25 goals at 1.89. This means that should the game end a draw then you would receive half of your stake back
The draw can be backed at around 4.25 and this also looks a reasonable option given Romas recent home record against the top Italian sides.
Inter are suffering on the road at the moment and have lost their last four away matches in a row.
When playing away to the second tier their record reads a far from impressive won three, drawn none and lost seven. The worrying thing for Inter is they have lost seven of these matches in their last eight.
Inter can be backed at around 3.15. However if you do fancy them to do well then I would certainly look to keep the draw on my side and Inter can be backed on the Asian Handicap +0.25 goals at around 2.05
As far as goals are concerned then we should certainly expect a few and when looking at Romas home games this season six of their nine matches at the Olympic stadium have seen four or more goals. When facing the Italian elite then four or more goals have been seen in four of their last five home matches
In the case of Inter six of their last 10 away games to teams of Romas standing have seen four or more goals as has three of the last five head-to-heads. Over 3.25 goals can be backed at 1.91
In summary this again could very well be an entertaining affair which looks full of goals. However I still feel that the 3.25 goal line is a little high especially given the fact that inter have not found the net in any of their last four away games. With this in mind I am going to side with Roma -0.25 goals at 1.91
