Premier League Betting Diary
All refreshed and raring to go!

The dust has settled on the World Cup and after almost 2 weeks without football I feel totally refreshed and can't wait for the new season to start.
August 14th is still a way off, but we have the pre-season tournaments just around the corner and I tend to use them to see how the new players are fitting in at the big clubs. What you should remember is that almost 45% of live TV games on Sky or ESPN will contain one of the big four (Man Utd, Arsenal, Chelsea & Liverpool), but I think that you can add Man City & possibly Spurs into the mix, and then it's going to be almost 60% of the TV matches involving at least one of these club. It's good practice to do some early research before the season starts.
As a football trader I don't look too much into trying to back a club to win the league before the start of the season. I tend to take the contrarian approach by laybetting the fancied clubs at certain prices.
Dutching Man Utd & Chelsea to win the league is a 4/7 (1.57),. I know that during the season they will be priced less than 7/4 (2.75) & 11/4 (3.75) and above those prices being quoted. It's all about the timing of when you enter the market,;get it right and you can build up a nice profit on either club winning the league by backing & laying at the right prices.
Finally, I am looking forward to getting my hands on the printed version of our new book, which is basically our in-depth analysis on last season's Premier League.
You have couple of choices, buy the book and join us or go it alone. If you do the latter then check back on this site next May and read my review of the season and I will tell you how much you could have won during the season.
